American Cancer Society – Fork Cancer San Francisco Bay Area

Fork Cancer Bay Area is the The American Cancer Society’s Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA) annual party with a purpose, and it took place at The Midway event space in San Francisco.
This event showcased the SF Bay Area’s deeply inclusive culture by bringing together diverse cuisine and entertainment in order to benefit the American Cancer Society. The 2023 event recognized and celebrated the fundraising efforts of the ABOA’s Tastemakers, a group of well-connected and philanthropic emerging leaders in the Bay Area who were nominated by their peers to be one of the faces at Fork Cancer. They serve as an extension of the American Cancer Society to advocate for its mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. All funds raised through this event went towards the mission of the American Cancer Society, including research and patient support services, with a portion going directly to transportation and lodging grants for Bay Area patients.
Several companies and local purveyors including Sobre Mesa, Gloria Ferrer, and June Shine offered their products at the event.
