Yes. The Midway is particularly well suited to large company holiday parties because guests do not have to spend the entire evening in a single room. Multiple spaces can support dining, cocktails, live entertainment, dancing, lounges, activations and quieter areas for conversation.

What types of company holiday events can be hosted at The Midway?
The Midway can accommodate traditional company holiday parties as well as year-end celebrations, employee appreciation events, client receptions, awards dinners, galas, live entertainment, themed experiences and January or February company celebrations. Events can range from seated dinners and cocktail receptions to multi-space parties with music, food, activities and entertainment throughout the campus.
Can we have dinner, entertainment and dancing at the same event?
Yes. Different areas of The Midway can serve different purposes over the course of the evening. A holiday party might begin with cocktails, move into dinner or company remarks, and continue with live music, DJs, dancing, lounges or interactive experiences. Larger events can also run several experiences simultaneously rather than asking every guest to follow the same schedule.
Does The Midway provide catering and bar service for holiday parties?
Yes. The Midway has an in-house culinary and beverage team that can support formats ranging from passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations to buffets and seated dinners. Multiple bars and service locations can also be incorporated into larger events to help distribute guests throughout the venue.
Does The Midway provide AV and event production?
Yes. The Midway has extensive built-in production capabilities, including sound, lighting, staging, LED displays and immersive projection. Our production team can support company presentations and awards as well as DJs, live performances, branded content and larger entertainment programs.
Can we customize the venue for our company or holiday theme?
Yes. The spaces can be customized with lighting, projection, décor, signage, branded content, scenic elements and interactive activations. Companies can create a traditional holiday environment or take the event in a completely different creative direction.
Does The Midway have outdoor space for holiday parties?
Yes. The Midway’s indoor spaces can be combined with outdoor areas including the Patio, giving planners additional room for cocktails, food, social areas, activations and other experiences. Indoor and outdoor spaces can be incorporated into a larger campus-style event depending on the event plan and time of year.
How far in advance should we book a company holiday party?
For large holiday parties, earlier planning generally provides the best selection of dates and the most time for production, catering and event design. Companies planning for several hundred guests or more should ideally begin the venue search several months in advance, particularly for popular November and December dates.

Yes. Some companies choose January or February for their annual celebration rather than competing for peak December dates. A post-holiday event can also provide more scheduling flexibility while still serving the same purpose: bringing employees together, recognizing the year and celebrating as a company.

Because holiday parties can range from a single-space gathering to a large campus-wide celebration, our events team prepares proposals around the specific event rather than a single standard price.
