From Product Reveal to Afterparty: Inside Cerebras SUPERNOVA 2026

Cerebras SUPERNOVA 2026 brought approximately 900 guests to The Midway for the launch of CS-4, the company’s next-generation rack-scale AI system. The San Francisco product launch spread across the campus, with keynotes, technical sessions, live demonstrations, networking and an evening afterparty.
Building the Room Around the Reveal
Ride served as the mainstage for the CS-4 launch, where two roughly two-ton AI server racks had to remain hidden until the moment Cerebras was ready to unveil them. The event production team worked through several designs to conceal the systems without interfering with the stage setup and presentation. When the moment came, a kabuki drop released the drape and revealed both servers to the room at once.
Elsewhere on campus, guests could get a closer look at server components in CarreSel, which was set up almost like an exhibition. Gods & Monsters hosted smaller talks alongside a lounge, coffee and donut bar and swag store. Food, beverage and networking extended onto the Patio, while the rooftop provided a separate space for VIP guests.
45 Minutes to Build the Afterparty
After the daytime programming, guests moved into the Patio and surrounding spaces while the production team turned Ride from a seated presentation space into the evening afterparty. They had approximately 45 minutes.
The team cleared the seating, set up a DJ booth and food stations, and changed the lighting for the evening. Because guests could continue eating, drinking and networking elsewhere on campus, the work in Ride could happen without stopping the event.
The Details Around the Technology
One of the smaller details was also one of the more unexpected. Among the SUPERNOVA merchandise was a children’s-book-style story Cerebras created about its wafer-scale chip, explaining the technology behind its approach to AI processing in a playful format.
A Product Launch With More Than One Act
Across the campus, SUPERNOVA moved between technical programming, hands-on product experiences, smaller talks, networking and hospitality before Ride became the setting for the evening celebration.
The two biggest moments in Ride required very different preparations. The reveal took several rounds of design to hide two massive server racks onstage; hours later, the afterparty required the team to clear and rebuild the same room in 45 minutes. By the time guests returned, the room where they had watched CS-4 unveiled earlier that day had become the party.
